Dear Future Boss is the passion project and brainchild of Eira Joy Aringay, a Melbourne-based creative whom after a decade working in the corporate media industry, took a leap of faith into entrepreneurship to find more meaning in her life.
What started as a book idea, has transformed into a multi-faceted, multi-layered project produced in alignment with social enterprise The Mentorship, founded in 2017 in support of young people pursuing creative careers.
Having trialled several educational initiatives and mentoring students and graduates over the last 2 years, Eira Joy felt compelled to share her story and insights in a new way with the vision to have a bigger reach and impact on youth. So with her flair for writing and presenting, Eira Joy launched Dear Future Boss, a blog and podcast produced especially for young people navigating the uncertain world of creative industry.
The project aims to be educational, insightful and above all, empowering – so that the next generation of creators are encouraged and well-equipped to use their unique gifts to contribute positively to the world. There is so much we can learn from each other, it just takes us to be brave enough to start sharing our voices.
